On January 9, KACE joined Bergen County officials and local community organizations for the annual Bergen County Korean American Day celebration to commemorate the arrival of the first Korean immigrants to the United States, and to honor our community’s immense contributions and impact to society.

Korean American Day, established by Congress in 2003, celebrates the arrival of the first Korean immigrants to the U.S. more than 100 years ago, as well as the contributions of Korean-Americans to our communities in the years that followed. Bergen County is home to approximately 60,000 Korean Americans.

On this special evening, County Executive James Tedesco awarded KACE with the Outstanding Korean American Community Service Contributions Award for its achievements and contributions to Bergen County. We thank you for your support over the years, and we look forward to our continued collaboration to uplift our community in Bergen County and beyond.
