(Left to right) Legal Task Force Lawyer Youngsoo Choi, Esq., Reverend Won Tae Cho, KACE President Dongchan Kim.

On June 8th, 2017, KACE was invited by the Jefferson Democratic Club in Bayside, NY, to share the progress of its “sanctuary church” initiative that protects undocumented immigrants of our community. Alongside Councilman Paul Vallone of the New York City Council and Assemblyman Edward Braunstein (NY-26), KACE reviewed the far-reaching impacts of the current immigration policy.

In the absence of legislation establishing a comprehensive immigration reform and in light of the current immigration policies, KACE is building a network of safe sanctuary spaces across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. KACE’s “sanctuary church” movement provides our undocumented neighbors with legal advise, resources, and information on current immigration law.

For assistance, please contact the KACE Legal Task Force Hotline at (646) 450-8603 or by email at INFO@kace.org

KACE serves the sanctuary churches in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut as a bridge to a growing coalition.
