On December 17, Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) was invited for civic education seminars with the youth and young adult ministries at First United Methodist Church in Flushing.

With 50 students in each session, audience ranging from 6th grade through 30 years old, KACE spoke on the civic standing of the Korean American community and ways of more active participation.

Attendees also shared their personal experiences in connection to Asian American history and current affairs discussed in the seminar. We appreciate Reverend¬†Daniel J Cho¬†for the opportunity and the church’s continued efforts in civic engagement.
