On May 13th, 2017, KACE hosted the KAGC Regional Seminar in Los Angeles, California, in preparation for the 2017 Korean American Grassroots Conference (KAGC). In collaboration with the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles, the seminar was attended by nearly 100 high school students and community leaders.

Together, attendees explored the Korean American identity, history of Korean Americans, and discussed the importance of grassroots activism and community organization.

Since 2014, the annual Korean American Grassroots Conference (KAGC) has attracted over 600 attendees from 20 states, joined by 18 members of Congress from both sides of the aisle in the Senate and House of Representatives. At each conference, the attending community leaders and activists have engaged over 200 congressional offices on issues pertinent to the Korean American community.
