On October 4, 2017, high school students in the 2017 KACE Grassroots Internship met with Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco to discuss critical issues of the Korean American community.

County Executive Tedesco explained to the students the role and structure of the county government and agreed on the need for more Korean American voice in public policy on all levels of government.

The students from across the county were awarded citations in recognition of their community service in voter registration and assistance in civic education since last May.

We thank the County Executive, his office, and Bergen County for the continued support for our high school program and our mission of civic empowerment.
