Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) hosted a voter registration drive on October 29th and October 30th, 2016 at the 2016 Korean Harvest Festival. Throughout the weekend, KACE assisted over 50 first-time voter registrations and more than 120 inquiries on voting.
With hardly a week left until the election, many visitors were already registered; however, with the spike in first-time voter registrations this year, we received a slew of questions on what to do at the poll site.
KACE provides advice on what to expect and how to cast a vote for first-time and returning voters alike. We also distributed the 2016 NY & NJ Voter Guide to help our community be informed on candidates in advance.
KACE operates Voter Hotline (347) 766-5223 in both English and Korean. On Election Day, the Hotline will be open from early morning until the closing hours of the poll sites to provide assistance for any questions or complaints.
