On March 20th, KACE ran a voter registration at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Great Neck, NY. (Fr. Joseph Hyunsup Kim) KACE assisted 10 first-time voters in registration, and distributed over 20 voter registration forms to those who unaware of where to receive them.

Most of the voters were not aware of the requirement to update their addresses on voter registration forms upon change. This is not only the case for New York State, but for all across the country.

It seemed as though many parents were having a conversation on elections with their children (over 18) at home. Many requested to take home several forms for their children.

The primary for presidential candidate in New York State is on April 19th. The deadline for this primary is fast approaching on March 25th, and you can receive a registration form at a local post office or public library.

Attorney Youngsoo Choi who volunteered together also offered consultation on naturalization and immigration laws. KACE assists with any election and voting-related inquiries at (347) 766-5223.
