On October 28th, 2016, Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) published the 2016 New York & New Jersey Voter Guide.
An annual publication by KACE, the voter guide is a compilation of positions and candidates to be on the ballot this year in districts with a significant Korean American population. As part of our community education initiative, KACE has published the voter guide every year since 2012.
In addition to the Presidential candidates this year, in New York we will be electing a U.S. Senator, Representative, NYS Senator, Assembly Member, as well as judges for the NY Supreme Court and Civil Court. In New Jersey, candidates for U.S. House of Representatives, County Freeholders and other constitutional offices of the County, as well as members of the council and Board of Education in each municipality.
With only days left until the Election Day, we are receiving a high volume of inquiries on missing deadlines for address update and not receiving the confirmation mail for new registrations. We accept all election-related inquiries at our Voter Hotline (347) 766-5223. Especially on the Election Day, our Hotline will be open from early morning until the close of poll sites to resolve any complaints and voting rights infringement upon Korean American voters.
