On October 5th, 2013, Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) participated in the 33rd Annual Korean Parade & Festival in Manhattan, New York. Despite the dreary morning, the date turned out to be a perfect autumn day and many Korean American organizations participated in these two events. KACE’s interns, staff, and board members turned up for the parade and the 8080 Campaign that followed afterwards.

Many voters visited KACE’s booth to inquire about voter registrations and the upcoming election in November. KACE conducted voter registration for New York and New Jersey as well as recruiting Korean interpreters for the Board of Elections of the City of New York.
