On May 19th, 2013, Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) visited the Long Island United Methodist Church as part of the 8080 Campaign. The 8080 Campaign is KACE’s initiative to increase Korean Americans’ voter registration and participation to 80%.

On this campaign, KACE President Dongchan Kim, Program Director Wonseok Song, and other volunteers collected voter registrations. KACE Board Member Youngsoo Choi, Esq. provided free legal advice to the church congregation.

The congregation of the Long Island United Methodist Church expressed their gratitude to KACE for traveling a far distance to provide voter registration and legal advice.

KACE collected 10 new voter registrations, and provided legal services to 10 church members.
