[Korean American Civic Empowerment and the Fort Lee Korean American Association’s Jisun Yoon accepting voter registration forms]

 

On May 13, 2012, Korean American Civic Empowerment held a voter registration drive at the New Jersey Presbyterian Church in Palisades Park.

New Jersey interns and Fort Lee Korean American Association President Jisun Yoon collected twenty voter registrations.

During this year's primary elections in June, voters in New Jersey will select their Senators, Congress person, freeholders, and council members. (This may differ depending on your town, Please inquire with KACE). 

 

If you are over 18 years old and a United States citizen, you could register as voter, 21 days before each election.

Register as voter and participation in vote is our right and duty. Especially, in this year, all election service is available in Korean. Also because people can vote in their house by postal vote, it becomes easier to Korean American’s participation in vote.

KACE will continue to receive any question regarding voter registrations by phone. Any Korean American who wants to vote can contact KACE and ask questions about voter registration, postal vote, and any other elections.
