On August 16th 2012, Korean American Civic Empowerment participated in "2012 Senior Expo" hosted by New York Korean
 Daily News and conducted a voter registration campaign. 
 
Many Korean organizations and service organizations participated in this event, such as Holy Name Hospital, United Health Care, Korean American Medical Association, AWCA, etc., to provide information and consultation to senior citizens residing in New York.
 
Coordinator Chae No and 6 interns attended this event and received a total of 5 voter registrations.
 
2012 is an important year since there are elections for president, congress and state senates and house of representatives. Because of this, Korean American Civic Empowerment is conducting voter registration and educating about the election process.
 
In order to vote in Primary election for New York State Senate and Assembly on September 13th, one must register to vote before August 19th 11:59 P.M. at the Board of Elections. KACE will visit Queens Board of Elections on August 17th and deliver the voter registration forms.
