On October 17th, 2012 at 11am, Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) held a press conference announcing the release of the "2012 Presidential Election Guidebook."

This guidebook was created to help Korean American voters with limited English proficiency in deciding which Presidential candidate to vote for. The guidebook includes the criteria for being elected President, the history of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates, and their major strategies. For policy comparison, topics that would be of greatest interest to Korean Americans were chosen and were placed side by side to further assist the reader. The guidebook includes econmic, job creation, tax, immigration issues, foreign affairs, education, social welfare, energy, and environmental standpoints of the candidates. All of the information was gathered from the candidates' campaign websites and does not represent the views of the non-partisan KACE.

[Dev. Coordinator Wonseok Song presents the contents to the local press.]

About 500 copies will be printed by KACE. If further copies are requested by Korean American organizations, the guidebook will be distributed through them as well. The guide can be downloaded from www.kace.org as well.
