On May 5th, 2012 Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) held a Voter Registration Campaign at Ridgefield H-Mart and Broad Avenue in Palisades Park.

May 5th is the last day for submitting the voter registration to participate in June 5th, primary election. On this day, KACE’s New Jersey interns received total new 17 Korean voter registrations.

If you are over 18 years old and a United States citizen, you could register as voter, 21 days before each election.

Registering as a voter and participating in a vote is our right and duty. Especially, in this year, all election service is available in Korean. Also because people can vote in their house by postal vote, it becomes easier to Korean American’s participation in vote.

KACE will continue to receive any question regarding voter registrations by phone. Any Korean American who wants to vote can contact KACE and ask questions about voter registration, postal vote, and any other elections.
